We just had the most wonderful afternoon visiting this restaurant and the adjoining Habsburg Castle. Could not recommend it more: The menu is simple but offers anything for the the carnivores as well as the vegans. Our waiter Cyril Meier was great, very friendly and spoke perfect English and the portions were more than generous so come hungry. We had the castle tour after lunch to work off the food and came back down for coffee and dessert. Perfect.
The Habsburg castle has a very old history. It was the main castle of the Habsburg dinasty. You can learn about this history in the castle.There is also an excellent restaurant here where you get really great meals in a wonderfull atmosphare. We visited this restaurant different times and never were disapointed with the meals.I would warmly recommend this castle and the restaurant.pore
We came here on Sunday afternoon and had the burger as well as the Weisswürste. After 2PM they have a small menu card including salads, fries and sausages. The quality of the dishes was just amazing! Excellent fries and a big juicy burger with a thick beef patty. Also the Brezen which was served with the Weisswürste was freshly baked.
