tl;dr: restaurant is to be avoided at all cost, no info about hotel. we didn’t stay at the hotel, but went to the restaurant. seeing it on the guide michelin, we expected at least decent food and professional and appropriate service. let’s start with the first: instead of focusing on high quality ingredients and good cooking, every dish became a mockery by including dozens of different (and unnecessary ingredients). for example, the carpaccio consisted of about 8 different ingredients (when really only 3 are necessary), and all of them were bad. sauces were gelatinous, pasta undercooked, and meat dry. further, the service was ridiculous. i appreciate service that isn’t too formal and pretent...
for my birthday I have been allowed to spend an ingenious evening at the restaurant Schönbühl.Beautiful reception by the young service crew was very friendly and accommodating. a smile on the face and a wonderful natural friendliness (not as much as I have often experienced it in other local.) perfect table with beautiful view of the lake and the alpine landscape.The various menus were very well explained by the competent service team. that eat a pracht. beautifully arranged and for auge and smell a pleasure. the wee recommended was top and for cheese lovers wait here a pearl of christoph bruni’s cheese cellar!The evening was a pleasure for me for the palate (hearty thanks to the kitchen.) b...
We went to dinner at 7'20 with a lot of iloion, due to the favorable criticisms. We left at 9'30 h without having coffee or drinks, and very disappointed. the kitchen , the concept is only artifice . melon with ham : a few spheres and squares of melon and sandia and a bit of ham on a tostaditas (reblanded) . dish of 42 francs salmon on the plate. We saw the comenals willing to spend a good evening buying champagne and wine, but the delay in serving was equal to all. Today : Italian.
we are on our convertible tour in hilterfingen at the hotel restaurant Schönbühl for overnight. no idea what went wrong in the kitchen - but eating was badly prepared. the filet was very dry, tough and cold. the coarse potato stick with limette was the best on the teller, though cold. the sauce was more than thin and without taste. the sweet was drowned in butter. I assume that we have the same food we have served in the banquet hall. I would have expected much more from the narratives.
The location of the restaurant hotel is great, great view of Lake Tuner and a beautiful garden, the staff (female) was super attentive and very nice, a waiter was serving at our table, unfortunately very forgetful, we ordered drinks a few times and he only remembered the order when he asked, the food was great and beautifully prepared, can only be recommended, the dessert was also okay
one of the best restaurants in the vicinity of thun: very competent friendly service, very tasty prepared eating, deliciously tasted: amuse-bouche, wild (hirsch,) fish on wezbeet. nüsslersalat with fried egg. everything cooked at high level and very beautifully presented. we are happy to come back!
annoying a birthday looking like something special on the lake of thun. we found it in the beautiful. super fine tasted eating and friendly attentive service. unfortunately not all points because the food was allowed to be a bit warmer. but happy again. Réservez une table maintenant
