On our first night in Adelboden we were recommended the restaurant and it was excellent. Even though you can't tell from the outside the service and food was splendid. First we were provided with fresh baked bread and a couple different spreads. Even kids loved the bread. Then we were shown the specials for the day handwritten on a small board. Kinda cute my husband and i each chose the ribeye steak. It came with a variety of fresh vegetables and a choice of "Bratkartoffeln", fries etc. In addition i had "Pfifferlinge" and we shared a fresh mixed salad. Accueil aimable et prévenant, souriant qui donne un ton bienveillant à tous les hôtes. Les tablées ont le sourie, on se sent bien face à la montagne! Lorsque les plats arrivent, on se rend compte qu en plus du bon accueil, on va être gâtés au niveau du palais. Tout est bon, original, fait maison et les légumes sont tout sauf ennuyants. Vins au verre très bons, grappa, enfants bienvenus. Que dire de plus que parfait ! On se réjouit de revenir. Merci aux tenanciers.
We ate here after touring ancestral homes of Adelboden. This restaurant was a great choice. My sister, our guide (and very distant cousin) and I had the 'Schnitzel vom Swiss Prime Schwindi' which was fantastic. My husband, my cousin and his wife each had a beef tenderloin dish with fies and vegetables. It was the special that evening. They enjoyed there meals. The beef and pork were locally sources in Switzerland. If in Adelboden again, we will eat here again.
Le restaurant ne paie pas de mine, mais la cuisine en vaut la peine.Une carte variée, inventive et originale. I had a very long day hiking but was fortunate to stay right behind the restaurant in a guest house. Walking from the outside doesn't show how special this restaurant is! Words cannot describe how good the food tastes and how much effort goes into the delicious starters and mains.Have to go!
