Great service, unfortunately a bit overloaded on Valentine's Day. Nice ambience. It took a while for the drinks to arrive, and before that the menu card, which comes in the form of a newspaper, even arrived. In order to know what's available you definitely have to speak French better than the locals at your table. A translation into English or even German would be great. At some point the food came. A very small portion. The neighbors had ordered starters which looked great and were guaranteed to be more filling. Unfortunately, my chicken cordon bleu with fried potatoes was not breaded. We walked in on a Friday afternoon without a reservation and were quickly seated. This restaurant is very close to the Saint Nicholas cathedral in Fribourg. The food was excellent. My wife had the deer medaillon (chevreuil) and I had the vegetarian mushroom fregola sarda, both delicious. Above all was the most excellent service Laura took really great care of us. If you happen to be in Fribourg, you must give this restaurant a chance to amaze you.

We came to the restaurant thinking that there was a menu like the one advertised, instead of going to the restaurant opposite, something less interesting and more expensive. After bringing us the menu and the drink, they told us that there was only a menu for one person, instead of having told us this at the beginning, as soon as we arrived. We hope you take it into account for future clients.

I was here several times. Last time we had frog legs (cuisse de grenouille . It was the best I ever had!! Well, they have a lot of other very delicious dishes. Service is very fast and recommend you the perfect wind or drink for every...dishes (you have to ask for it . Service and wine was fantastic too! Nice but I found: ultra light homemade tea in taste (for the price we hope a little better than a glass of water with a little mint taste) the Caesar salad is good but not my favorite (it's very personal I imagine) slightly long service
