We were attending a wedding for my brother-in-law. Those who follow me know. I'm pretty straightforward with what i deal with and I give you pictures. I can't speak any higher of the staff. Unfortunately our rooms could not be spoken for much.A full maybe a queen at best. A pull out couch that didn't work. The room is a little outdated and the creature comforts are not comforts. Had to leave at 3 in the morning because we were so uncomfortable! $200 for the room plus tax a little pricey for a wedding even if it was a single cabin attached. We were given $25 back, hooray But again, the staff worked their a off To make sure everybody was taking care of location is also very scenic. I could see...
My girlfriend and I have stayed at Stroudsmoor twice now, and it's really a special place. The grounds are big and beautiful, with a nice beginner path. We stayed in a room in the main building first, which was decorated in antiques but well-kept. Recently we stayed in a twin cabin (I think its called) that offered more privacy. The restaurant is really top-notch for breakfast and dinner. Pool and hot tub are really nice and clean as well.
Did not stay at the hotel, but had dinner at the restaurant. I went with an anniversary party as a guest, so I don't know the costs. However, the buffet options were plentiful and everything I had was delicious, plus warm apple pie for dessert (for me). No skimping on quality! Wait staff was friendly and helpful. Nice location up in the hills.
My wife and I celebrated our daughter's wedding here. I believe everything here is FIRST CLASS. Lucy at the front desk was extremely helpful, courteous, and made sure our accommodations were perfect for my daughter's wedding.The room we stayed in was great. Everything was walking distance.Rooms: We loved the rooms!
