We attended my brother-in-law's wedding, and as my followers know, I’m pretty candid about my experiences, and I like to share photos. I can’t say enough good things about the staff; they were truly excellent. Unfortunately, the accommodations left much to be desired. The room was small—maybe barely a queen size—and the pull-out couch was unusable. The decor felt outdated, and the amenities were lacking in comfort. We ended up leaving at 3 AM because we were so uncomfortable! At $200 plus tax, it felt a bit pricey for a wedding, especially for a small cabin. We did receive a $25 refund, which was nice, but again, the staff really went above and beyond to ensure everyone was taken care of. Th...
We stayed one night at the Stroudsmoor. Our room was small but very pretty and very clean. The bathroom was extremely tiny but spotlessly clean and contained everything you needed. It was really clever how they fit everything into such a small space. The only problem was that the woman who checked us in told us that a full breakfast in the dining room was included in the morning. We were sort of counting on that but it turned out she was wrong. It was only a continental breakfast that was quite limited bagels (but no toaster), muffins, coffee and tea and not much else. Other than that it was a really lovely place to stay and the staff was very friendly.
I'm not usually one to write reviews, but my experience here was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others to steer clear. I attended a wedding at this venue, and while the grounds and scenery are genuinely unique and beautiful, that's about the only positive thing I can say. The rooms are tiny, falling apart, and in dire need of renovations. I appreciate rustic charm, but this was more a result of neglect and outdated conditions. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and nearly impossible to sleep on.
My girlfriend and I have stayed at Stroudsmoor twice now, and it's really a special place. The grounds are big and beautiful, with a nice beginner path. We stayed in a room in the main building first, which was decorated in antiques but well-kept. Recently we stayed in a twin cabin (I think its called) that offered more privacy. The restaurant is really top-notch for breakfast and dinner. Pool and hot tub are really nice and clean as well.

My husband and I went here for one night to celebrate our anniversary and we so pleased. Top notch hospitality, extremely clean and awesome views and grounds. There's a great restaurant and indoor pool on premises and even a 1 mile hike! With breakfast included; can't go wrong. We plan to make this a tradition. Thanks Stroudsmoore staff :)Walkability: Our room had no steps. Hike was easy.
I didn't stay at the hotel, but I dined at the restaurant. I was a guest at an anniversary celebration, so I'm not sure about the prices. However, the buffet selection was extensive, and everything I tried was delicious, especially the warm apple pie for dessert! The quality was impressive! The wait staff was friendly and attentive, and the location in the hills was lovely.
I highly recommend Stroudsmoor Hotel!. Our experience was fantastic and we truly enjoyed our stay. The service was exceptional, and the amenities provided were top-notch. We were impressed by the attention to detail and the beautiful surroundings. Without a doubt, it deserves a 5 start review. Looking forward to returning in the future!
My wife and I celebrated our daughter's wedding here. I believe everything here is FIRST CLASS. Lucy at the front desk was extremely helpful, courteous, and made sure our accommodations were perfect for my daughter's wedding.The room we stayed in was great. Everything was walking distance.Rooms: We loved the rooms!

A beautiful location with amazing views. I was here for their brunch but was able to tour the place and will definitely come back to stay and enjoy all their services. The meal provided was exceptionally good and it was worth the detour during our visit in the area.
