We had a great experience having brunch at this restaurant! After missing the Cross Sound Ferry back to Rhode Island, we stayed at a nearby hotel and found this place near the Sayville ferry. Despite the Sunday morning rush, we were able to snag bar seating. I ordered the corned beef hash which was delicious and clearly made from scratch. My companion got the eggs and avocado Benedict with turkey bacon, also tasty. The specialty drink menu looked tempting, especially the cereal and mimosa flights. Although our server could have been more attentive, I would definitely make the effort to dine here again before or after catching the Sayville ferry. It's no wonder why this place is a local favor...
We enjoyed the breakfast as it had great food and service with an acceptable price. Waitress was friendly and professional. My friend has eggs, bacon, French toast and I had the Breakfast yogurt bowl. Both were great. Large portions took half home. We were there in November 2023 and there were a number of flies which was a turn off. We usually go to their Centereach location and didn’t experience this issue. I think the Sayville location should do something to deal with the fly issue.
Wow! This place is great, with good service, great food, friendly staff there is no better option than Brownstones Coffee. I have been here 3 times since opening and it has been amazing each time. I would suggest using their website to put your name down before going since sometimes the wait can get a little long. I recommend trying the breakfast bowl I highly recommend going here to eat, you will not be disappointed trying this out.
I went to this restaurant with a group of six people on a Saturday afternoon. The food was excellent, but the service was a bit sluggish. The place was quite crowded, and we had trouble getting our server's attention. I ordered the corned beef hash, which was delicious, but the portion size felt a bit small. Despite the slow service and small portion size, it is still a fantastic spot for breakfast or brunch.

Went here for breakfast with my father. We both got the brownstone omlet. It was the perfect combination and amount of everything needed for a meal. It was truly delicious. We ate every bite. Our waitress was very attentive as well. I will definitely be back here again and recommend everyone to give it a try.
I visited the restaurant yesterday and had Hannah as my server- she was truly outstanding! She is incredibly funny and it was a breath of fresh air to have a server with such a great personality. The food was excellent, as usual, but I would definitely return and request her as my server again!
I liked the place, the decoration is beautiful, the breakfast was very delicious, the attention was perfect, they were very friendly, the place is small but the restaurant is very warm and cozy, and of course, with perfect company, you have the best time. I recommend it
We were here on day 3 of opening. The please was super busy. The staff was very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Such an improvement from the old Sayville Diner. definitely go check it out.
