First impressions, we were greeted with a warm welcome the moment we walked in the door. The menu has so many options there is something for everyone. One great cup of coffee to start. Service with a smile from the owner to the wait staff. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming everyone is friends here and seems like there are no strangers here. Now let’s talk food. The ambiance of this diner is average, but the table service is excellent, and the Big Texas Breakfast Sandwich is a standout. It's made with delicious butter-fried white bread Texas toast and is loaded with eggs, sausage, bacon, cheese, potatoes, and comes with a side of hash browns. For vegetarians, there's a spinach and feta omelet available, along with grits. The menu also has plenty of options for kids. The coffee is pretty good, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. Plus, it's just a 5-minute drive from Newark Airport, with easy parking.
Needed a place to meet up with a relative during a long layover at Newark Airport. This place was perfect. It is 5 minutes from Airport and the food was traditional confort style diner food. An added bonus was the staff who were not only friendly but also very accommodate. It was perfect for my needs.
Great spot to grub down when waiting to pick someone up on a delayed flight, after a day in the trenches, or just when you want some good diner food. Wish it had its old hours, but I get it. Not much has changed in the ~10 years I’ve been coming

Whenever I return home to Elizabeth, this place is always one of my must-visit spots. It's not extravagant, but it offers a reliable meal with good food at reasonable prices.
Absolute genuine atmosphere of a true workman's diner. It's a slice of real America along with good food.
