Came in on a Sunday at around 1 for my FIL’s birthday celebration. On the weekend, there is no lunch menu. There are also no reservations for lunch, but it was fine because there were only four of us, and it wasn’t too packed at that time. For drinks, we ordered a pitcher of the white sangria $40, I believe? . This was pretty terrible and not worth it. It was mainly sugar and cheap wine, and had a weird after taste. First time ordering take out from Segovia. My experience was good. No better. No worse. I ordered the Paella Marinera which is paella with only seafood. There were pros and cons to my order. First, they got my order wrong. I always check my food before I leave and they gave me the Paella Valenciana instead of what I ordered. The manager came out and corrected my order for me, which was good to see. The portion was large, which I was happy about. I spent $31.95 for this order. I waited a long time to post this review because I love this restaurant so much. For the record our bill came to $337 for six people, two of which were children. I can’t say enough about the quality of the food. It is outstanding and consistently delicious and the service is top notch. My complaint is that there is no handicap ramp to get in with a wheelchair. I tried to address this with the manager, but he ran and hid. Honestly I felt like he just didn’t care, And I know he knew exactly what I wanted to talk to him about because he could see how we had to struggle to get into the door. A group of 3 of us were craving steak after a quick snowboarding outing. Upon searching, we found this place close to home and decided to swing by. We ordered the lamp chops, surf turf, and the skirt steak. Portions are giant! You also get a choice ofsoup/salad with your meal. My lamb chops were a bit overcooked/dry but the flavor and char were great. My friends' steaks lobster were cooked better though. Whenever I'm in Northern New Jersey, this restaurant is always on my top 10 list. The food is always expertly prepared, and the portions are generous, giving you plenty to take home for later or for lunch the next day. I definitely give Segovia a full 5 out of 5 stars! It never fails to impress. This place is my top choice when I'm craving some comforting food. My usual order is the stuffed lobster with yellow Spanish rice, which is served with warm bread and either a soup or a salad. The appetizers are all amazing, and I can never choose just one or two favorites. The sangria is also quite strong and delicious! Be ready to leave Segovia feeling completely satisfied and happy!
Old school American style Spanish restaurant. Huge portion and fun place for family events where you don't find in New York city any more. The place has many easy seafood selections, shrimps, clamps, escargot, mussels and squids. The tapas are as big as a main course, and the paella we had was pretty good, not special though! The price is super reasonable.
Hands down one of my absolute favorite spots! A large, delicious menu with options for everyone. The stuffed scallops are to die for. I'm not kidding, you have to try them when you go.
