I am writing this having returned from Kitzbuhel, crestfallen to see that the Seidlalm is no more. Pauli has retired after 30 years and we will no longer enjoy his blackcurrant kaiserschmarm, black pudding grostl or seidalm tequila. We have visited for more than 15 years and loved this Last Stop on the home run. Thank you to Pauli, Ricky, Sandra and Nico for hosting such a landmark and and facilitating the great times we had with our friends over so many years. Dabbers and Eddie xx
it was during the **** comb race, and they sold us to go aqua panna water bottle. we opened it on the way down and discovered that the seal of the cap was not intact, and the water inside had a sandy taste. they had clearly said we were typing water. So, they may have saved 50 cent in cost by refilling an old empty bottle. as a restaurant, you just don't. the people may not be taken for idiots, and as they say, the cheap payment twice (this check is just that.)
What a great place, cozy and very friendly family style service. Need to avoid peak lunch hours as the Alm is tiny!Food is great, especially the soups the speak platter and the strudel - by the way the have my favorite weißbeer! It's the perfect place for a late lunch before ending your skiing day. I strongly recommend it. We are always back year after year. CIAO
The Seidlalm restaurant/hutte is a traditional looking building. The food provided is very good and the service is friendly and fast. It is, in fact, a modern restaurant business which knows how to charge for their service. It seems to have a captive audience due to its location. Worth a visit if you need a stop and a small refreshment - otherwise, keep walking! Réservez une table maintenant
Located in the middle of the Streif its the perfect place to end a day, very good service and a cozy place. The food is great, they have a new daily each day with traditional austrian food, was excellent and big portions. Should also try the pulled pork burger, was excellent! Its also cheap compared to other places up on the mountain.
