The manager/owner is the nicest guy and excellent at what he does, service with a smile and cracks jokes as he's doing it. A real people person. He even recognized that I had called earlier to confirm they were open for dine in service. Great BBQ spot with all the fixings. This was my third time here and I still have a hard time deciding what to get. Ribs and brisket is a must. Pulled pork did not disappoint, moist and smokey. I'm a fan of the baked beans and collard greens for the sides. Red bliss potato salad is delicious! And don't forget that burger... Bacon or pork belly? How about both! This was our first time going there we had heard such wonderful things about the food I have to say it was only OK the waitress was very inattentive .We ordered a lot of food; the chicken was very good as were the ribs you get a few pieces of chicken and a few ribs on family meal. The ribs were very good, but the macaroni and cheese was watery and really had no flavor. potato salad was OK the quesadillas were I would say a little below average and my biggest complaint I guess would be the cleanliness of the restaurant You should clean all the dead bugs off the floor and out of your front window . We ordered the sampler platter for $65, which I think is a fair deal. It's the best BBQ I've had in the NYC area. The meat was incredibly tender and practically fell off the fork and bone. The brisket was outstanding, and the pulled pork was bursting with flavor. My only complaint would be the ribs – they were cooked well, but the flavor just wasn’t to my liking. The staff was super friendly, and it seems like a fantastic spot to catch a football or sports game, especially with their advertised deals on game days. Plus, they offer homemade BBQ sauce in a self-serve canteen style.
The best to do it. Highly recommend it to everyone all over the tri-state area, it's better than the commercialized restaurants in the area. Food really is just so good, exactly what floral park needed. Huge portions, great price, and such an authentic bbq flavor. Staff are super nice and really love what they do. We recently did their on site catering (menu available on the website) and my guests couldn’t have been happier. Great job! First time visitor but definitely will be a repeat customer! Fresh, flavorful and delicious food serves by a awesome, attentive staff. Decor feel like you're in some down south BBQ shack and it definitely works well. Don't sleep on this place y'all hidden gem! This is by far the best barbecue place I have been too.. It was my Birthday so me and my husband wanted a nice place to eat we walked in and was greated like we were family. The Ribs, Chicken wings,and brisket were delicious!!! Even the sides were greatJohn and his staffs' hospitality will definitely make you want to come back. Had an awesome time... Thanks Guys
After Texas I have been looking for some good bbq. I would say they?re worth it. Love their BBQ. I asked for moist briskets and they were perfect. I hope they have Jalapeño sausages when I go back. I also got the pulled pork, Half Ribs, chicken and it wasworth it. Their spicy sauce is bangin as well. Will definitely go back.
