I visited The New Serena on Saturday, September 24th, 2022, to order chicken pakora. I inquired about whether the dish came with chilli sauce since it was not specified on the menu. Unfortunately, when I got home, I found that there was no chilli sauce included with my pakora, and instead, raw onions were scattered over it in an attempt to make it more visually appealing. The pakora was dry, chewy, and lacked flavor without the chilli sauce. I cannot recommend this restaurant as they were unable to fulfill a simple order correctly. We have used the serena for years and alway enjoyed our meal until the last 8 months . The food is not the same as it use to be and the last 3 deliveries we have received there has been items missing . After phoning and getting no satisfaction it’s now time to look for a new takeaway. This time delivery arrived at 6.50pm with no spiced onions. We did speak to the delivery driver who said they will be in the box and guess what no the weren’t so had to yet again phone to be told the would be sent out. It’s now 8.30pm and still waiting even after another call to the store. Enough is enough we will not be ordering again
Once again, another disappointing meal experience. I placed my order at 5:20 and it did not arrive until 7:45. I had to make 17 calls to the restaurant, only to be repeatedly told that my order was on its way. When the food finally arrived, it was all cold and had to be reheated in the microwave. I have definitely learned my lesson this time and will not be ordering from this restaurant again. If I could give a negative score, I would rate it -5.
I placed an online order with this restaurant in hopes of enjoying a late-night treat with my family. The delivery driver was extremely late, and when I tried to contact him he requested that I meet him at the door. I waited there for 30 minutes, but he never showed up. When I called him back, he answered and then immediately hung up on me. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable.

Ordered large mixed calzone of which I recieved a kebab , if you call 4 pieces of meat and salad that , waited over an hour and when it arrived it was stone cold Will not be ordering again from here and advise anyone thinking of doing so not to bother , better takeaway restaurants in Dunfermline
We ordered a chicken bhubaneswar and keama madras plus a mixed pakora starter which we shared. Delivered by just eat, very quick and still v hot. The curries were both excellent fulling spice and flavour. Not cheap however good sized portions and very tasty. Look forward to our next takeaway
After a day of decorating and not being able to go out in these odd times we now live in it was great to be able to order a curry from my favourites. We ordered keema madras chicken buns and a mixed starter. Delivery was very quick and the food was excellent plentiful and tasty
Ordered 2 starters and 2 mains to take away, one of the starters was fish pakora which was over 95 percent batter and the main course a lamb dish had five small pieces of lamb and in the tandoori mix the chicken was not cooked properly. Sorry but it was over £30 wasted.

I spent a lot of money using this place. Until I found a insect in my pizza which I and my partner had half eaten. I personally called the shop. An I got nothing but absolute ignorance and accusing me of blackmail. Disgusting place.
We ordered special biriani and keema madras and chapatis Quality This place truly delivers quality Indian takeaway food.
