What a fantastic venue to visit, the food is restaurant class.....just melt in your mouth, the staff are warm and friendly. We dined in the cellar, the atmosphere was incredible, with bottles of wine by the hundreds around us all for our perusal and of...course to drink from the areas local wineries. The cellar in its self was amazing, i cant say that we had ever had this experience before. All the wine lovers out there go and have this once in a life time experience.
Popped in to check out somewhere to go for our anniversary dinner. Looks like a great country pub with your typical dining space. But then we were shown the cellar! What a great dining spot. Enjoyed excellent food and service. Steaks ordered rare came out...medium instead but they were more than happy to bring out replacements. No rush special occasion dinner. Thanks Sevenhill Hotel.
We booked a table for two to have dinner here as it was the closest place to our accommodation, and also recommended by our hosts. The food was pub style but good quality and fair portions. I had the fish and chips, a bit tasteless,...but with a bit of salt it was corrected (better than been salty). We didn't get the chance to dine in the cellar, which seemed very nice and rustic.
We were under some pressure to eat between performances at a local festival. Staff were very courteous in responding to our tense enquiries about having our pre-ordered meal ready to be served when we arrived. Our meal was ready as we’d requested, and was delicious...to boot. What a historic place to eat! We booked late so ended up in the wine cellar surrounded by racks showcasing regional wines! An intimate, cosy dining experience. This place has loads of character. Oh, and the food was interesting, plentiful and very nice. Very attentive...staff and informative publican.
Had an amazing lunch at this restaurant, highly recommend trying the slow cooked kangaroo. The cellar has a fantastic selection of wines to choose from. The service was excellent and it is clear that this place is a favorite among the locals, as it was packed with diners.
Had lunch here whilst visiting a few wineries. Food Was of high quality with a good selection of local wines. Hotel has been very tastefully renovated. Don’t forget to check out the cellar. service was friendly and efficient.
Have the privilege of having dinner there with seven of us. They picked us up from Auburn and back home. The food was lovely we had schnitzel, steak burgers vegetable curry and then a variety of desserts and liquor coffees Réservez une table maintenant
We were expecting typical country pub food, but were pleasantly surprised by the venue, the cozy atmosphere in the cellar, and the outstanding food. Overall, it was a great experience and we highly recommend it.
