Have eaten there before due to relatives living nearby. Came early and there was no problem getting a table. The ceiling fan over the reception area was not running and the amount of dust on it and dirt hanging down was remarkable. When we were seated we noted the walls were also dirty and later visiting the toilets, the same for the toilet doors. The air was stale as there were no open windows and no air conditioning evident.The food was acceptable, although when my wife had a main course of calamari and the tzatziki was based on appetizer size ( as our waitress Niki pointed out in a rude fashion) there was a requirement to pay $3 more for extra sauce.In perspective there are signs in the window announcing that this is one of Burnaby's best Greek restaurants. Take your chances!!!!!
This is our go to place for Greek as we have tried many but this one stands out from the rest because the food is consistently GREAT as well as the service! We enjoy the delicious deep fried calamari appy (oil is changed and batter doesn't fall off like other places). We always order the roast lamb dinner but be sure to ask for the complimentary mint sauce to accompany the tender lamb. We highly recommend this place as prices are reasonable and food is awesome; not overly salty or oily. You won't be disappointed!
have been going there for a few years and sometimes the food and service is very good and other times average food and average service. Kind of hit and miss. Think it's better when the family is there but the kids don't seem to have the same passion that they used to have. Definitely needs an update and could be great again if they want it to be.
Don't go here too often, but when we do, always have the same thing. It is always a good consistent choice...lamb/prawn/scallop souvlaki. It never seems to be very busy at lunch time when we go, but the service is always good.Unfortunately they don't serve ribs at all, which is one of my Greek favorites!!
