I would never recommend this to anyone I would have given negative stars if I had a option Don’t go with the menu name thinking that it’s Indian cuisine, they have customised the cuisine as per their wish and gave Indian names. Regarding quantity hardly three spoons for a person Even after complaining he accepted that it’s not what it’s written but did not change the food. Service staff don’t let complete the food, even if the restaurant is empty before you finish the last bite bill is on your table. We went in here for a family outing. We requested a table at the corner but was told to sit at another table. This was eventually sorted, and we were led to our table with some apologies. The food was incredibly good even though it took a while to get them ready. Perhaps, because the Diner was packed full the night we went. The service was great, notwithstanding, and the waiters were helpful and calm. The menu had an assortment of Indian food and drinks to choose from. The Shah Jahan was quite cosy and had colourful wall decorations. The toilet was clean. Overall, we had a great experience, and we will be back.
We ordered popadoms with assorted pickles, these were disappointing. For main I ordered salmon malabari . I was given a lamb dish. When this was pointed out to staff they quickly swapped my curry, I did however have to ask for the rice and plate to be changed. There was no apology! The ‘salmon’ I then received could have been any over flavoured fish. Overall disappointing.
We ordered a takeaway this evening. I asked for chicken tikka pathia...this tasted nothing similar to pathia I have had many times at other restaurants and the chicken was more like shredded off cuts rather than tikka pieces. My husbands food was also of poor quality. We will not be ordering here again.

Home delivery. The food was very good which is more than I can say for the delivery guy who took it upon himself to wipe mucus from his nose then flick it onto my path. Needless to say, I shall not be using this establishment again as it makes me wonder what the hygiene is like in the kitchen.
Absolutely sublime lamb dishes. A restaurant that’s willing to spend the time and energy on creating tender lamb entree’s is rarer these days and the spices were very well balanced. The butter chicken, a staple for us Caucasians I must say, was very nice also. Well done. We will return!

Just had a takeaway from here and the main part of my meal was missing, so phone and was told sorry but you can have a free meal next time. Great but I wanted a good meal tonight, will not be using this cowboy outfit again despite having done so for many years!!
