We have our favorite dishes - my wife loves the Sambal Delight, while I prefer the Sweet and Sour Chicken. We always like to share a plate of Barbeque Spare Ribs. However, our recent experience left us disappointed. The Sambal Delight had a different taste with green peppers instead of carrots and an overwhelming amount of hot spices. This is the best Chinese food I have ever tasted! I have been a loyal customer of this hidden gem since 2004 and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. The vegetables are freshly picked and chopped, and the cooking style is authentic Szechuan and Hunan, just as you would find in their respective provinces in China. It's truly amazing! Unfortunately, their dine-in option is temporarily closed due to Covid-19, which I miss, but safety is their top priority.

Our go-to Chinese restaurant for many years. Unfortunately, the quality has slipped badly. Cold fried dumplings. The Thai curry dish we ordered had large chunks of barely cooked green pepper, radish and red onion and little curry sauce. Another dish had eggplant stewed to a pulp.

Returning to CT from a Broadway show and my family decided they were hungry. We came upon this tiny gem! Food and service was excellent. One thing my grandma recommended was they need to invest in a teapot haha. Quiet and enjoyable place.
We randomly searched this area for Chinese food and had our new year dinner here. The restaurant is cozy and clean. The owner was very kind. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. We will definitely be back if we go to this area again.
