we write to express our immense thanks to shangri la for a truly unforgettable wedding banquet last December. at the beginning we decided to shangri la because the venue, food and service known to belong to the top notes of many experiences from the first hand over family members. we chose this restaurant for a large group (12 people) Dim-Summe lunch on a Saturday. we had an extra large table on a corner of the restaurant. Dimm-Quality is about average considering that this is a more upscale restaurant and prices are not. on the cheap side. However, the service was good and the restaurant people did not try to leave us so that they could get the table (there was no line for tables.) we were over two hours, it is a good place for a large group meeting.
I initially reached out to them for banquet options and found their packages to be expensive based on the menu offerings, so I decided not to book with them. However, a few months later, I attended a gathering there. The service and decor were excellent, but I was not completely satisfied with the food. I believe they could improve by ensuring the dishes are kept warm and maintaining the quality of the food before serving it to guests.
