I was in the mood for something different, and even though I have enjoyed Middle Eastern cuisine before, I had never tried Iraqi food specifically. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Iraqi kabob platter and Mousel kibbeh, and everything was seasoned just right. The flavors felt both familiar and distinct at the same time. The staff was incredibly friendly and a delight to chat with. I can understand why this restaurant has such a high rating. While it might not be the fanciest place around, I come for the heart of the food rather than the shine of the floors. I highly recommend making an effort to try this unique cuisine!
Treat yourself to a visit to this incredible restaurant in Windsor! The service is outstanding, and the staff genuinely cares about your dining experience. The food is simply fantastic—everything we tried was delicious and left us wanting more. This was undoubtedly the best meal we enjoyed during our time in Windsor. I highly recommend it! Although I’m currently overseas, I just wanted to make sure how kind and sweet the owner is.She deserves all the good in the world!I hope next time I’m back in Canada I’ll get to visit Windsor and try their food.Based on the reviews, it really seems like a good place to grab a delicious bite.

What a great experience. Felt like we were eating at a family members home. The service was wonderful and friendly. We went to Windsor with with the kids for the water park and wanted to find familiar home made food and this place hit the spot! Highly recommend!Food: 5/5

Amazing Iraqi food. Our dishes were beautifully plated and delicious to eat.We found Queen Ashtar because of the internet hype, but would return solely for the tasty cooking.
The food is absolutely delicious and the owners are wonderful. 10/10 would recommend. Large portions for the price! I ordered the Kofta Curry, and it blew me away!Food: 5/5
