We had a wonderful meal at Shawbridge Microbrasserie I tried the Es-tu ben sure which was delicious not to sweet really refreshing. We had the french onion soup the broth was amazing the stout added lots of flavor with lots of onions and baguettes still with crunch covered in melted gruyere cheese. Had the ribs which were cooked to perfection the meat falling off the bone the sauce is nice with a bit of a kick loved the fries too. dessert we had cremeux du citron which was amazing with the crunch of meringue with the tartness of lemon and the graham cracker crumbs on top I highly recommend this and the cafe au lait and decaf coffee where excellent. This cozy restaurant is a great spot for après ski after a long day at Sommet Saint Saveur. However, I was disappointed when my dish did not come as described on the menu. We ordered the Margarita pizza, expecting basilicum, but it actually came with pesto and pine nuts. This may be a pleasant surprise for some, but as someone with a severe nut allergy, it was concerning. Thankfully, the staff quickly offered to replace the pizza. I recommend that they provide a more transparent menu outlining allergens for the safety of all customers.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. However, the service was just okay, not exceptional. Some things were slow even though it wasn't very busy when we were there in the middle of the afternoon. I would still recommend this place, just be aware that it may not be as efficient as it used to be.
