The staff here are very friendly, and they always double-check each item when I place phone orders. However, the person responsible for assembling the orders seems to make mistakes quite often. For instance, I've ordered chicken noodle soup but received potato soup instead. I asked for chips and ended up with fries, and when I ordered a wrap, I got a sandwich instead. Despite these errors, the food is absolutely delicious! Their menu, featuring signature sandwiches and wraps, is delightful, and the homemade chips are fantastic! Excellent deli! The prices are reasonable since the sandwiches come with sides. The ladies behind the counter are friendly and always greet you with a smile. They offer more than just sandwiches, and everything I've tried is delicious. I've been a regular here for a while, and they consistently deliver great food. Javier, one of the deli workers, makes the freshest sandwiches and paninis, and his recommendation to add Chipotle Mayo to a panini was spot on! I’m constantly craving their homemade chips. Definitely a must-visit spot! (And their brownies are absolutely amazing too.)
Sheimers Deli Catering And More offers great service with quick turnaround and excellent value. As a local resident, I had been curious about Sheimers for years, but their Sunday closure made it difficult to visit. When I finally tried the Scheimer sandwich, I found it good but not outstanding. The bread and bacon both seemed a bit stale, as if a day or two old, though still acceptable. My rating leans toward three or four stars, mainly because I appreciate supporting a small business. I look forward to exploring more items on Sheimers' menu during my next visit.
I ordered online on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, two sandwiches: an Italian sub and a Michelle wrap, priced at $9.99 and $8.99, respectively. First of all, the Italian sub was similar to a Subway sandwich—very lacking in substance. The wrap was decent, but the main issue is that the prices were changed without being reflected online. I ended up paying over $25 for two underwhelming sandwiches. I won’t be coming back for that kind of deal; I don’t mind paying for good food, but there are plenty of other options that aren’t overpriced!

Sheimers is fantastic and has quickly become our go-to deli! We just moved nearby, within a five-minute drive, and have already been there twice for lunch. We've sampled a few of the paninis and wraps, all of which were incredibly fresh and tasty. The homemade chips are a must-try. We can’t wait to try their breakfast and make Sheimers a regular stop for lunch!
The only downsides were the strong smell of grease inside the restaurant—our clothes still carried the scent after we left—and the bathroom setup. The window in the bathroom opened onto a porch where people could see in, and there was no way to pull down the shade. Additionally, the toilet faced the window, which felt a bit awkward.
I absolutely love Sheimer's! They have the best wraps around, all at a fantastic price. Although I'm not originally from Jersey, I enjoy bringing my friends to this fresh, authentic Jersey deli. The friendly smiles that greet me every time make the experience even better, and I'm never disappointed with the food I take home.
We run a business just down the street from this restaurant, and we haven’t had a single bad meal there. The sandwiches are so big that you'll often find yourself saving half for later, but then you can't resist eating the other half right away!
