"Shere e Punjab is simply Excellent Indian Cuisine. The food is delicious, with a wide range of veg and meat dishes on rice and naan, and the curries can be calibrated to your precise spiciness level (mine is 4 out of 5). All dishes are also available for pickup, which works great for me. Also, on really lucky nights you may hear a live band playing there. One of the real highlights of Media, definitely check it out!"

Was dreading working the weekend shift til i remembered that I'd be near this little restaurant for the lunch buffet. Clean location with a small buffet, which is packed with flavors that I rarely find in Indian buffets. The other customers were all loving the food, as I could hear most conversations in the small/medium dining room. The waiter didn't say any words at all, even when I paid the check and signed the receipt, but overall, I was just there to serve myself. First, didn't know they had free naan! Super fluffy and buttery, great for dipping and wiping. The vegetarian options were all great, from okra to peas to breaded veggie balls to a red chana that Id never seen. There were 3 typ...

I love this place! The food is great, the environment is wonderfully relaxing with light music and all of the experience in a cultured space. I like to have mango juice and one of so many various dishes (you can ask them how spicy or not spicy you want it to be and there is a scale spelled out on your menu . Show up early and they have lunch which is an all you can eat buffet. Come later and they have different dishes available, I am sure all are delicious! They have so much and one type of naan I can't remember the name of it but it's like a dessert on its own. It has golden raisins in it. So tasty! The food choices all tell you what is in it but it's all enjoyable. I miss going out there w...

One of my favorite Indian spots near me. They offer lunch buffets and menu ed dinners. I've been to both. If you're not quite sure what to get or this is your first time doing Indian, I really do recommend the buffet. This way, you can get a sample of different dishes and then decide what you like and don't like. From there, you can ask the server for recommendations based on the ones you tried. A few of my favorite dishes include wings appetizer, chicken masala, goat curry, and the garlic naan. Wings has a slight kick but so delicious! It comes out sizzling on a plate. Masala this sauce is so creamy and delicious. My husband and I love it spicy, but because the kids love it too, we have to...

No fork, no napkins, long wait.. Okay, this is the Veggie Platter . Every- freakin- thing in here is fried! Fried cauliflower, fried chickpeas, fried potatoes. I 'm a vegetarian to get away from food like this, smh. The person that took the order has a very thick accent, so when he told me what came with this platter I had know idea what he was saying. It 's greasy salty! Apparently they haven 't heard of heart disease yet. Seriously, I feel like I bought a meal at funnel cake world. With all the vegetables in Indian cuisine how the hell did serve me this over-fried pu-pu platter! And all I taste is grease. Honestly, I 'm not eating this. I 'll throw it away in a good place so no animals can... Réservez une table maintenant

What a wonderful restaurant I found on Yelp. The food I got to eat with my work colleague at Shere-E-Punjab was most excellent. My work colleague was originally from Punjab India and suggested I find a good Indian restaurant and it wasn't disappointing one bit. Patty was our server and she did an excellent Job. I haven't hand Indian food in over 15 years and this place was great. Friendly owner and staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that loves Indian food or wants to try some good flavor food. Good job Shere-E-Punjab. : I will definitely be back next time I'm in the Philly area.

Last night, my friends and I ordered takeout from Share-E-Punjab. We tried the Lamb Sambusas, Lamb Vindaloo, Lamb Korma, and Chicken Makhani, along with Garlic Naan and Peshwari Naan. Overall, the food was quite good. I didn’t have the chance to taste the sambusas or garlic naan, but everything else I tried was flavorful. While I’ve had more delicious korma in the past and found the lamb vindaloo to be lacking in lamb, I’m being a bit picky in my rating of four out of five stars. It was good, but not exceptional. I would definitely order all three main dishes and the Peshwari Naan again.

We also ordered Chicken Saag, which features tender chicken pieces in a creamy spinach sauce—absolutely delightful, especially since we opted for the mild flavor. Additionally, we tried the palak paneer, which consists of cheese cubes in creamy spinach, also prepared mildly. The service was prompt, and they gave me a call as soon as my order was ready for pickup. Currently, they only offer takeout, as dine-in service is not available yet. If you're in the Drexeline Shopping Center near PNC Bank, this spot is quite convenient!

I used to order takeout from this place once a week before I moved a few years ago. Now that my husband and I are back in Drexel Hill, we visit this restaurant frequently, and I'm more than happy about it! Their buffet is consistently fresh and never disappoints. The staff is friendly, and I can’t say enough about how amazing their food is. On a side note, they offer great gluten-free and vegan options as well! I also appreciate that they use cloth napkins, which helps reduce waste. Réservez une table maintenant

I came with a big group of friends for someone's birthday a while ago and we all got the lunch buffet. I was worried my options would be limited here because I'm lactose sensitive, but I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of the menu options without dairy and it was definitely a good value. I'm so glad our friends introduced us to this place, because I don't eat Indian food often and I rarely go to buffets...but I'll definitely be back now that this is on my radar!
