A group of us had a lovely korean BBQ lunch. Part of the group tried the lunch time specials and the other half tried cooking their own Korean BBQ at the table. I had the chilli Chicken and rice lunch time special which was quite spicy and had a chilli hit. It was delicious. My meal came with rice and a salad. My husband had the chilli pork and rice lunch time special . We were wowed when visiting Shilla last year.We loved the setting, ambience, friendly and informal atmosphere and food.This time we took our daughter and grand-daughter with us and spoke about the restaurant in glowing terms.Alas though the ambience, setting and service was still nice, the food did not live up to our expectations.The grilled oysters and barbecue beef ribs were still excellent but:the ginseng chicken soup was quite blandthe braised beef-rib stew was far too sweetHope it is just of of those nights when the chef if not at his best!
This is a good choice if you're after a traditional Koreab BBQ place. Both the meat and seafood banquets are excellent, fresh and tasty and is more than enough quantit, everything at a decent price. The other meals (kitchen cooked) are also very good. One issue - deserts are leaving much to desire for, the icecream is rather plain and the Belgian waffles are dry and tasteless, so go somewhere else for desert.Pleasant atmosphere, very good service and reasonably priced (for Perth, that is).

Looked at the highly rated Cafes on Trip Advisor but they were overly crowded, walked along the inlet a little further and wasn't too sure about this place as it is basically a Korean restaurant, but was fabulously surprised. Breakfast on weekends. Came here late Sunday morning. Great location. Wonderful food and huge serves. Restaurant is spotlessly clean. Great coffee. Friendly service. Highly recommend you give it a try you won't be disappointed.
Hidden is East Perth, with magnificent views of Claisebrook Cove is this wonderful, friendly restaurant.Beautiful food, wide choice of proteins and cooking methods. Great location looking across the Quay. Modern restaurant with friendly knowledgeable staff. Plenty of Traditional menu items, fully licensed. Choice of BBQ menus, cook it your self with friends and the fun begins. Add Korean Beer & Soju to the mix and with the guidance of the staff a great night food adventure takes place.
This is a nice Korean restaurant with good ambience and service and most of all, the food is delicious. We had the BBQ and the meats were very well marinaded and delicious and so were the condiments. We also tried one of the hot pots and it was delicious. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant is facing to the beautiful cove. They mainly serve Korean BBQ and provide BBQ table so we can grill our self. Nice staff, and wonderful taste. Just be ensure to reserve a table otherwise you might need to wait the table to be ready.
I went to the best Korean restaurant in Brisbane even though the price was much better in Brisbane. The food quality was much better in this restaurant.
