I'm disappointed to write this review because I was looking forward to trying a Pakistani restaurant close to my home. I ordered food for delivery, but received the wrong dishes, and the butter chicken spilled all over the bag. When I reached out to the restaurant to resolve the issue, they said they would "get my order right next time on them" but claimed they were "too busy" to fix it immediately. I was promised a call back from the manager, but after waiting 20 minutes with no response, I had to call them again.
The butter chicken at Shiney's Sweets is the creamiest and most flavorful I've ever had, and coming from NYC, that's saying a lot. The chicken samosas were also very enjoyable. We took the Beef Paya to go, but it didn't quite meet our expectations. I’m looking forward to coming back to try more dishes, and the buffet looked promising as well.
I was in the mood for something sweet and decided to try out a new spot. After browsing through Google for suggestions, I stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We ordered a variety of sweets and ras malai. The flavors were just okay, nothing exceptional. The service could have been more friendly and attentive.
I stopped by for grabbing a quick snack-vegetable pakora and vegetable samosa. Both tasted delicious. Prices were cheap and the portions were large. They had a variety of sweets available too. I wish the store could improve on its interiors and cleanliness. I want to revisit but their level of hygiene puts doubts in my mind. :

I always have fun eating at Shineys. I love the food, environment and everything feels like home! It has one of the best and genuine desi tastes in DMV area! I would highly recommend the place! The customer service is outstanding!
The staff here is incredibly friendly. The buffet is delicious, and the desserts are great as well. It’s quick, affordable, and of high quality. I visit quite often!
Food quality is good. But, Salesman are so rude. They don’t even ask what you want how you want. Attitude is very bad.
Shiney’s Sweets offers delicious sweets, mithai, and chaat. My favorite item is the chaat papri.
