Shin-sen-gumi Hakata Ramen

This place is so good I had to come here twice in a row while on a work trip! It resembles an Izakaya in Tokyo to me with the little tapas and how the staff greet you. Haven't been to an Izakaya that has ramen but I'm not complaining. If they dimmed the lights a bit and added more japanese decor, it'd be a pretty nice Izakaya! Anyways, had the tuna bites $5, Dandan noodles $13.50, eel rice bow $8, charsiu tacos 2 for $4.75?, gyoza for $5, and Sapporos on tap for $6 each. Great prices! And delicious most importantly (the charsiu tacos though are a little dry, needs lube! Overall, fantastic service and good eats. Did I mention $6 beers on draft with Japanese tapas??

The whole staff was awesome they greet you when you walk in and greet you while you're leaving make you feel so special. Sam was my waiter I let him know this was my first time he was very helpful and kind he helped me find something on the menu and it was delicious I got a Ramen soup. I will definitely be coming back.

Long wait time but ramen is good for its price. Out of 5 locations I had tried, this location has the best tasting ramen broth. Yes, even better than the one in Little Tokyo. PS. DO NOT go to the one in Sawtelle.

Way to long of a wait. As much business that flows through there you should be able to get a bigger place. Noodles as always phenomenal. Will return but maybe to the L.A. establishment as it's much bigger.

I choose normal salt, but its taste too much salty. I often went to eat at this Japanese ramen before COVID-19 , but the taste isn't as good as it used to be. Very disappointing.
