The Ship Inn is located in the Cheshire village of Styal and has a large car park which appears to be shared with the next door restaurant. This traditional pub was very busy and it's probably wise to pre book to ensure you get a table if you are eating. The pub was clean, warm and well presented and there were plenty of staff working. There was an excellent choice of reals ales but the lagers were restricted to unheard of foreign brands so it was pot luck whether they were any good. The German lager was not the best but drinkable. The wine was very expensive. The food menu was varied and the quality was good. The service from the staff was excellent but the prices reflected the Cheshire loc...
Today we visited the afternoon, we were a table of 8 who went on the chance of departure, we were greeted with the biggest smiles of linda debs. we were very welcome. there was a young gent on the bar that was very well informed about the beer they sold and the hospitable. “Zwischensturm” was simply nice! we all ate completely different net, Spanish fish stew was full of taste! chicken and hamcake was just the comfort I needed after a long walk. salt pfeffer chicken wings were perfect. can not wait to come back as a group when we visit styal again.
The ambiance at this restaurant is fantastic and the food is delicious. The staff is very attentive and welcoming, always going above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Special thanks to Nikki, the manager, and Debs for taking care of us. If you're looking for a cozy and delightful place to dine, this is the perfect spot!
Took my family for a bite to eat before we go to the airport. The pub itself was full of character, log burners throughout and full of original features. The menu was brilliant, so much for to choose from. All meals were full of flavour and great portions. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the service and food at this restaurant. The atmosphere of the pub is lovely. The main dishes and kids menu were excellent. The dessert was heavenly. The staff members were outstanding. We will definitely return in the future.
very nice pub, friendly staff and very good food. nice selection on the menu. the service could have been a bit faster, but we were not in a hurry. prices reasonable, good value. nice quiet location near someth airport.
Excellent service and food. Looked after our year old well who absolutely destroyed his meal. Kept us topped up with drinks and great atmosphere.
superb pub so full character and atmosphere. eating is delicious and the staff is great. not much more what you want.
