This is my favorite place! Outstanding service, perfect music, friendliness of staff, etc. all go far to making Shiro the ideal place to spend an evening. And the food! You cannot get better food anywhere. The menu is very creative (and always changing), and each plate is unforgettable. And the staff is equal to the food in excellence, so that I feel I always feel I am being welcomed home. This is the hidden gem of Pasadena, and I would be willing to travel far for the Shiro experience. Highest recommendation!
I have been to Shiro twice and service was outstanding on both occasions. Both times I ordered from the Taste of Shiro menu which is available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, if I’m not mistaken. All plates were delicious, shrimp, sea bass and duck breast. The au gratin potatoes are a tease…it’s out of this world!!! They’re so good, I feel I don’t get enough. Can’t wait to go back!
Experience was phenomenal as always Always treated with utmost care with dietary needs , so friendly and helpful , feels so embracing and like family I choose this restaurant above others for the staff , Cheryl, Alfonso, Roy and others who go way above to make it a wonderful experience and delicious evening never rushed looking forward to the next time.
