Essentially we were thrown out of the restaurant shortly after 11pm. The whole meal was rushed and the quality poor. We went to Shish and Mangal after a lengthy discussion about what to eat (as couples do). There were no customers in the restaurant. Upon arrival at 10pm we were told we had to order before 10:30pm because the kitchen closed at that time. This was not a problem as we were both starving. Its your traditional Turkish restaurant with the regular menu of most restaurant. The food is tasty and I have been coming here for a while particularly for the lunch service. The service is good but its often cold and over time the portions have got smaller and smaller which is a real shame because prices have risen a pound yet portions get smaller. If they can get the balance right then this is a nice restaurant.
Their customer service is awful. Ordered two portions of chips through Uber eats. It is then 15 minutes before they send a notification through saying that they won’t be delivering it, despite us already paying for the food! They won’t even pick up the phone so we can arrange a refund or find out why our order is not being sent to us.
Writing on behalf of my partially sighted Mum at her request who said they all had a very enjoyable meal at the restaurant with some friends yesterday. They had a bargain set price two course lunch which was very tasty, fresh, and was good value for money. My husband and I will be visiting soon to try it ourselves!

I visited this restaurant for dinner after ordering takeout many times during lockdown. The interior is clean and spacious with large tables. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. My only suggestion is that they could have offered some bread and dips like many other Turkish restaurants usually do.
Thought we try this restaurant as many others in the area are Italian so this would be something different. Staff were pleasant and service good. Place was practically empty. Food was nice but the price was far more than the take away price for same items. Might go back.
We have visited this restaurant once a month for a year. The food is consistently delicious and the staff is very attentive and friendly with the children. The lunch menu is also a great value. What more could you ask for?

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend it. The delivery was fast and the menu had a great variety of meats.
We went to this restaurant for a Golden Wedding celebration. The food and staff were fantastic. If we did not live in Yorkshire we would often go there.
