Friendly atmosphere. Great service. We enjoyed the curries, nan bread, and Indian wine. Also, a delicious traditional Indian carrot cake dessert. After the meal, we were given Indian liquor on the house. We arrived about half and hour before opening time (7 PM) and went for a drink at a wonderful quant and visitor-friendly local bar down the street called Le Courly. It is a combination tobacco and newspaper shop and a small bar, all run by a single employee. The tap beer was cheap and tasty.

I guess it’s down to personal taste and experience but I didn’t feel this meal warranted more than a 3.5 out of 5. My husband enjoyed his Chicken Tikka Masala. I thought my Chicken Curry was OK but we regularly eat at Indian restaurants on our travels and I’ve had better meals. The pilao/pullao rice was good but I didn’t enjoy the paratha, which lacked flavour, in my opinion. The waiter was efficient but not very welcoming. The location was handy for us.

This is Indian. The welcome is very friendly and the menu is extensive. The food is sublime, nicely seasoned and prepared with care. If you're in the area, you should definitely eat here. Located on the edge of the center, this is one of the best Indian restaurants we have eaten at. We, my girlfriend and I, go to Indian restaurant everywhere we go, which is all over the world. This is one of our favorite.

Great food, really nice and helpful waiter, clean and lovely place, the only thing I misjudged is the walk from the town centre which is a fair way so I would recommend a taxi to get there!
