The best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. And I love Indian food. The chilli garlic chicken is fab. So is the jalfrezi. The naans are included in the price of most mains and are soft and tasty. The chipatis are also v good. The menu is extensive. Loads of choice. Always reliably good. They always deliver on time or earlier. We’ve only recently moved here and have had quite a few meals from here. I highly recommend it. My partner used to get food from here 30 years ago and discovered that it’s still run by the same man.
We have been loyal customers of Shiva since it opened in Firswood/Stretford many years ago, making it our go-to Indian Takeaway. It is undoubtedly the best Indian Takeaway in the northwest of England, and quite possibly beyond. The food is of exceptional quality, comparable to that of a top-class restaurant, and the staff taking orders over the phone are always polite and helpful. Delivery is consistently prompt as well. If you choose to order from Shiva, you will not be disappointed!
Ordered food tonight and although it was a little late and a few anxious calls (only because I was hungry) I must say was well worth the wait and the food was fantastic. The chicken tikka Rogan Josh was amazing!! Everything was cooked to perfection and piping hot too. Thankyou
This is an excellent curry restaurant that I have been visiting for years. The owner is very nice and friendly, as are the delivery drivers. The highlight, of course, is the amazing food which is always top quality and second to none.

Really happy with lamb jalfrezi and the service. I prefer my food to be spicy, so I requested for it to be made spicier. Staff were polite and I will definitely come back on my next trip to Manchester.
I believe this is the top Indian takeout option in Stretford. The food is flawless, and I've been a loyal customer since they first opened nearly three decades ago.

Good food, dansak is great for our children as not spicy. Nice range of food that is tadsy. The place itself has no tables
The food on this occasion was a little too greasy. I had my favourite Lamb biryani! Service was fast and friendly
