I have eaten here many times and had a pleasant experience- good food, fair prices and good service. Tonight I went in with my husband and our server was clearly sick. In this case I believe it is better to stay home but if proper...precautions are taken (washing hands and avoiding food handling) then it can be managed. This was not the case. My husband informed me that on his way back from the washroom he witnessed our server cough directly into her hands, then proceed to pick up and deliver two teas to another table. were were fooled by the reviews, I guess from people who dont know what a decent restaurant should be like. I've never been to anything you can eat sushi place, where the personal showed care. the food was presented in a beautiful plating style. Apart from the presentation, I could go on over the taste for hours, I don't think I ever had such...hammy sushi before. they could taste the fresh and the only thing I could think was how much chic they really put in the production of the food. the staff was extremely polite and told me until the suppe cools down. I am so impressed by this restaurant and will often return.
The food was great. Service was fast and everything was done right. We got there a little earlier than we planned and the place was packed. We were not greeted warmly but like we were a pain in the butt. So we left and returned...when it was slightly less busy. The food was worth the wait and although the first impressions were not that good, it was overall a pleasant experience. The place is small so reservations should be considered.
this hidden gem has the best all you can eat sushi I've ever had. exceptional selection that are creatiw and well presented, and incredible service make this place also highlight from the best a la carte sushi. the personal really cares about the experience of the customer. I recommend the hawaii, volcano, rainbow and at the time of this review: the softest and tenderest snapper I've ever had.
We looked at Trip Advisor for a sushi restaurant in the area and selected Shogi as it had fairly high reviews. Did not disappoint.
