I am super disappointed in this store. I shop here every single week and likewise buy the hot rotisserie chicken in the deli department every single week. I’ve been doing this for 6 plus years now. I came in tonight around 6pm and there was only 1 chicken left. Unfortunately it was not a full size chicken, but appeared half the size of the one I normally buy for $7.99. However this chicken was still marked $7.99. At the register I asked to speak with someone regarding my concern and was appalled. YES Gary W. !!! You are spot on ! This place looks like a nightclub now. What were they thinking? So gloomy. It was better when it was WHITE and bright. I have been going there for decades. You know what else changed? They no longer make Italian bread. You could always count on nice fresh Italian bread, both the normal kind long and seeded and the shorter but FAT wide type seeded. Now they have NEITHER ! The normal type is NOT Italian bread anymore. No seeds on it, it is much skinnier and the worst part is DENSE like French bread and not airy at all. Taste is way off too! In this store they were trying to sell expired yogurt for a sale price. I noticed that the noosa yogurt that was on sale for $1.49. They were all expired by a few days. Once I brought it to someones attention, Marty who is the manager of that department came by in an angry way and took all of them off the shelf once I told him they were expired. He then tried to explain that they sometimes send expired products. BS I then asked for the manager who's name is JOHN. I wanted a raincheck on the sale price. I am autistic. Went to ShopRite of Deer Park June 13th 2022 around 9:30am. Went to the courtesy desk for a price check. I wasn't sure whether the Turkey Ball Park Frank's were 2 for $5.00. I said excuse me are the Turkey Frank's 2 for $5.00? The woman behind the courtesy desk in a nasty tone said no there 2 for$6.00. I forgot to mention woth the digital coupon. I purchased them and they were 2 for $5.00 with the digital. I understand that i forgot to mention the digital that isn't the issue. The woman behind the courtesy desk has been nasty in her tone to me before also she walks with a limp. I always say excuse me then ask my question. I haven't had an issue with the food or the prices.

At 16$ a pound for board head turkey this is how the rude deli worker sliced it last night. Not sure what was going on I was polite. Not one slice I could do a regular sandwich with. There’s no way the worker didn’t notice when she packaged it. Called the store the second I got home. They did nothing and wanted me to drive back with it. Emailed shop rite corporate as well. I never have an issue here this is my normal supermarket. If people don’t want to cut expensive cold cuts the right way they should be fired. Management and customer service there sucks too.

Customer service has been excellent there and the transitions of the changes with the construction has set up a good vibe in there. Walked in this morning and baker was happy making bread. Place smelled so good and quickly got a gallon of milk.
many employees are doing excellent work. always restocking and cleaning, most supermarkets have noone available or 2 registers open.

Totally adequate supermarket. Not the preferable one but I do go here in a pinch. Not always the best prices but it’s fine.
Excellent array of fresh produce! The bakery is tops! We've used it many times for personalized cakes!
