We were welcomed by friendly staff into their very traditionally Japanese style dining space, although awfully squishy. <br/ <br/ The chefs are seen behind glass windows to display their amazing effort and technique that goes into making these hearty ramen bowls and making everyone’s experience very authentic. <br/ <br/ I ordered the classic shunjiko ramen with some takoyaki balls on the side. Food:<br/ Despite being a 24 hour ramen shop, the food is amazing and one of my favourite ramen places in Melbourne. I always order their signature ramen but would recommend everything from their menu.<br/ <br/ Service:<br/ Service is good and fast. Waiters and waitresses are quite attentative despite managing so many tables at one time, eapecially during peak times.<br/ <br/ Entry:<br/ I've been here a few times and every time I've been around 1am and its always incredibly busy, so expect a long wait at night. Dont know why such a big fan of ramen like ourselves didn't know about this restaurant any sooner. It has become our fav ramen joint recently. Their chashu ramen was to die for with everything that make a good ramen, al dente noodles, rich, silky, full of flavour broth. The pork belly was blow torched, give it a nice char and a touch of smokiness beautifully melted in your mouth. Never have enough of that god sent meat. My hubby's fav is the tsukamen, kinda a dry ramen that get served with the broth on side. I'd like the broth of that dish to be more salty and condensed. Rivalling to steal the spotlight away from the broth is the spot-on, springy bite of the noodles. It’s a tough battle but I think the noodles won out.. I could’ve swapped out the tonkotsu for one of their other soup bases with the same noodles (and oozy ajitama egg, can’t forget that! and still walk away with one very happy belly. With the weather slowly shifting towards cool, it looks like I’ll soon be swapping my sushi and sashimi for ramen, and paying Shujinko another visit… Réservez une table maintenant
Nothing beats a 24 hour ramen joint that never stops serving amazing bowls of ramen.<br/ <br/ You would step it in 10pm and it is packed full of people and that mainly show's how good their ramen is.<br/ <br/ I would usually get the signature shujinko ramen and finish off with their green tea soft serve.<br/ <br/ Really enjoy the ramen noodles here as they are cooked well and the flavours are on point.Love how we can have ramen just about any time of the day
Love their Ramen, although a tiny place the atmosphere is authentic and if you happen to sit in the back area you can watch them make fresh delicious noodles in the next room through the glass window.The Ramen was rich and flavourful, the ingredients were just enough and very delicious.In my honest opinion the taste was even better the many place i dined in Tokyo.

Ordered takeaway, just a note that the website is not up to date and they no longer have the ramen set, plus I think the ramen has gone up in price... the shujinko ramen was nice, tasty broth, perfectly cooked egg and noodles. Would’ve liked perhaps an extra pork belly. Chicken karaage was fine.
Karakuchi Ramen was great, not too spicy but the right amount, the broth was great and everything about it was pretty good. And good price for the quality of the ramen. The chicken Karage was a bit dry and a little burnt, not enough sauce given for the amount of sauce. But overall great experience Réservez une table maintenant
