The fish and chips I had on the Isle of Skye were simply incredible! The freshness of the fish, coupled with the crispy, golden crust, was a delight for the taste buds. Fairly average chippy considering its location. But I think that's what's holding it back. With all the guaranteed tourist customers, there's no incentive to improve. great place to get chips, many vegan options and is made to order as they have separate freezers for vegan items. there are benches over the road so that they can sit directly on the coast when they eat their chips. there were beautiful möwen who waited patiently on chips while we ate.
Unfortunately, this British fish and chip shop did not meet our expectations. We were disappointed with the chips, sausage, and fishcakes. The chips were dry and lacked flavor. The chips were delicious! The red pudding was unique compared to what I usually have at other restaurants. I probably wouldn't order it again, but I really enjoyed the chips. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 3 out of 5.
We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of vegan options available at this fish and chip shop! The chips were delicious and although we were initially surprised that the sausages weren't battered, we still really enjoyed them!
