I wish I could give this place more than five stars! The bartender was outstanding—friendly, offered great recommendations, and truly enhanced our experience. We initially visited just for drinks and tried the pickle fries (which I highly recommend) along with some pretzel bites. During lunchtime, the entire restaurant filled up with patrons eager for burgers. It was then that the bartender mentioned they were famous for their burgers, so we had to come back and give them a try—and they did not disappoint! They create all their own sauces to complement the food, and everything is sourced locally. I highly recommend stopping by Side Bar during your trip to Louisville.

We visited this restaurant for drinks since it was conveniently located near our hotel on Whiskey Row. We ordered the pimento cheese appetizer and the hot brown fries, both of which were absolutely delicious. The bourbon selection here is the most extensive I’ve ever encountered, with several flight options to choose from. I tried the downtown flight, which was a fantastic way to sample different bourbons without committing to a full pour. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was really pleasant. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return when I'm in the area again.

What a fun, friendly, happening place! Legal lingo is the menu theme. Ask for Savannah. She was so helpful and friendly with the extensive whiskey and beer menu. The burgers are worth the price. Lively talk and atmosphere. This is worth a repeat. There can be up to a 30 minute wait time. Monday night was no problem, but I can see why.

Sidebar, what a fantastic place you are! Your pimento cheese balls are truly the best—nothing else compares. I can't stop thinking about them; they bring me so much joy. I miss you dearly, Sidebar. The serves was ok but he wasn’t very friendly or fast or talkative. The food was just ok I have definitely had better burgers. The salad toppings were old. The pimento cheese fritters had a weird after taste. And I have truly felt sick since I ate.

Coby is a fantastic bartender, has great recommendations. Mozzarella sticks are insanely good. Don't sleep on their happy hour. Definitely check out this place if you're in town.
