Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse Louisville

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant, service and food! It was a 100 out of 1-10. Matthew, our server, was the best server I’ve ever had. We travel extensively and I’m hard to impress; but, I was blown away tonight. Chris was Matthew’s assistant and he did an excellent job. The oysters were outstanding and our steak was cooked to perfection. The only sadness I have is that this place is not near where I live. It would be my go to place for everything!

This is a high-end venue, very much in demand, so book early. It is lively, so expect a lot of energetic activity. The wine by the glass list is reasonable and the selections are good, so no need to go overboard. The spirits selections tend to be pricey, especially on the Pappy/Weller MacCallan end of the spectrum, but Noah's Mill is reasonable. As for the Steaks....superb! Same for the fish and deserts. You get what you pay for, and the service is impeccable

Fabulous food and great service. We enjoyed every thing we ate and drank. The waiter even noticed we weren’t very comfy in the booth and moved us to a table
