My partner and I turned up early for a reservation of 5. We were seated at a table of 4. We had numerous wait staff walk past for the next 15 minutes until I finally stopped someone and asked for an extra table setting and some tap water. The rest of the night continued to be below average. The food was okay but the staff were just rude, particularly the 2 main men at the front door who greet you and then bid farewell at the end of the night. The restaurant is huge and I feel like their only goal is to get people in and out and turn the tables over as soon as possible in order to make more money. That attitude doesn't make people want to come back.
Pleasant staff and and quite a good choice on the menu. Excellent pizza bases and toppings, pastas are very good also. We went there for dinner and unfortunately it was a bit grubby. Table was a bit sticky and grimy with some food on the floor, presumably from lunch time diners and there was mucky grease on my chair edge when i went to pull it in. Perhaps just a reminder to the staff to do a decent clean up in between lunch and dinner service.
Overall the food was pretty good. Our starting pizza & garlic bread were both lovely, however I'd have liked more seasonings in my diavolo main. Wait staff was poor however. The guy serving seemed very uninterested & paid little attention to our needs. Didn't smile once, which isn't a big ask. Overall atmosphere was great, besides from the grumpy waiters.
It's nice enough ice-cream and I probably would have been happy enough had I never tasted the gelato from the establishment I shall not name but which is just a quick stroll across the road from here...that's some mighty stiff competition and to be honest, while it's good enough, this place just is not in the running!

A good place for an easy meal that will please all. The pizzas and pastas are always done well and the service is fast and the atmosphere is alive, busy and loud which can be enjoyable for most people ????
J'ai toujours apprécié les saveurs et les gelato de Il Gelato. Une meilleure alternative à d'autres franchises à mon avis comme Ben et Jerrysh ou Rock froid, etc. Beaucoup préfèrent il gelato
I have always enjoyed il gelato's flavours and gelato's. A better alternative to other franchises in my opinion like Ben and Jerrys or cold rock etc. much prefer il gelato

Been going here for years. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Quick service and delivery of food. Amazing pizza and great weekday specials. Always going back ????????
I was surprised when they were full for dinner here on Monday night, but they are far better than they used to be and SOME food is really good.
