"I also appreciated the generous amount of fresh vegetables in every dish; they really made a difference. The use of celery particularly stood out, as it added a refreshing touch to the meals. I loved both dishes so much that I've been trying to recreate them at home. Oh, and it's halal too! Overall, I just can't get it out of my mind."

Fantastic Takeout Experience from Silk Road Uyghur CuisineI recently had the pleasure of ordering takeout from Silk Road Uyghur Cuisine in Boston, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I ordered the Dry Fried Noodle, Big Plate Chicken, and Dumplings, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the service provided.First and foremost, the flavors of the dishes were absolutely exceptional. The Dry Fried Noodle was packed with a perfect balance of textures and flavors, showcasing the chef's mastery in creating a delightful combination of crispiness and tenderness. The Big Plate Chicken was a true highlight, with tender chicken, aromatic spice...

First, let’s talk about the menu. I was captivated by the variety of dishes, especially the stir-fried chicken, beef noodle soup, and dry stir-fried noodles. Once the food arrived, each dish exceeded my expectations. The stir-fried chicken was a harmonious blend of flavors, tender and succulent with every bite, while the beef noodle soup was a comforting, savory delight—a perfect combination of rich broth and perfectly cooked, tender beef. However, the highlight for me was the dry stir-fried noodles; they were a masterclass in achieving the perfect balance of texture and taste, delivering mouthfuls of delicious, authentic Uyghur flavors. In addition to the fantastic food, Silk Road impresse...

Food was amazing. The Dumplings were my favorite the flavors were so unique and the Dumpling itself was very juicy. We had an odd experience with the staff they were nice but had very odd rules. All the tables were full and when asked if we could sit they said yes if a table opens up you can sit and order afterwards (we were on a time crunch) so we decided to get the food for take out. But then a table opened up while we were waiting for our food and we asked them if we could sit instead since the table ended up opening up. They said no because they have a reservation at 6:15 but it was 6:30 and I asked them if they don't show up could we sit? And they said no we have another reservation at...

recently had the privilege of dining at this restaurant and to say that the food was phenomenal would be an understatement. From the first bite, I could tell that the chefs put a lot of care and attention into preparing each dish. The aroma of the food alone was enough to make my mouth water. The flavors were well-balanced and the spices were perfectly blended. Perhaps the most impressive thing about the food was the freshness of the ingredients. The vegetables were crisp and had a beautiful vibrancy to them, and the meats were succulent and tender.Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The noodles aren't hand-pulled; they're just the standard ramen you find in supermarkets. There are only two slices of meat, which was quite disappointing. As a tour guide who has traveled extensively throughout the eastern United States and sampled many Xinjiang delicacies, I can confidently say this place does a disservice to Xinjiang cuisine. Noticing all the glowing reviews made me suspect they're paid endorsements. Anyone who has genuinely experienced authentic Xinjiang food will recognize that this is far from it. Honestly, it's just not good at all.

We tried the dry fried noodle with lamb, laghman with beef and the cucumber salad. The flavors were all good, but the favorite was the laghman, the noodles were chewy and super super long (almost comically so). Quality of the protein was good. You order online and service was a bit light, but friendly. Interior was small and very simple it was quiet and easy to talk with friends. We got 3 noodle plates and 1 salad and it came out to $18/pp after tip, 4 of us total. Would return for the laghman if I got a craving.

The food is alright, but the service is definitely not. I got yelled “get out” by the male chef twice when I was looking for the bathroom in the kitchen (yes that’s where the bathroom is). I understand customers are usually not allowed in the kitchen, but the bathroom is in the kitchen, what do you expect me to do? He could’ve told me nicely to please wait outside since there’s someone in the bathroom, but no, “get out” was what I got, twice! Never again!

The experience and feeling of the place is very unique as it's a one of a kind restaurant. Very different in so many ways. This was my first time ever trying this kind of food and it was really good. We got one order of all the recommendations and my favorite was the Pilaf, I would also recommend the spicy chicken. All of the food seems very authentic to the taste and I would gladly come back whenever I have the chance to. Réservez une table maintenant

We ordered takeout one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Boston. The chicken plate was perfect level of spice and incredibly well rounded flavor. Spicy beef noodle was so good the noodles were incredible. Even the plain steamed rice was great and was made even better when we poured the chicken spicy sauce into it. Can’t wait to order again
