"I have been coming here for over 40 years, I even worked here for a short time as a teenager washing up. Only gets 2 stars now. Mustafa has retired (5 stars then) as moussaka is no longer on the menu. Other items also removed. The food is still high quality though."

After A 100 mile drive stopped off for two Chicken kebabs before going home another 3 miles, arrived home with no salad in one of the kebabs only us at the counter and a couple in the restaurant if you're that quiet and you can't get a order right! We phoned up they apologised said we could come back but asked them to deliver. 20 minutes later the salad was delivered but the kebabs where cold and for the £16.50 they changed and the size of the kebabs have got smaller than they were under the previous owner, I will not be back and wouldn't recommend The Silver jubilee. The very least I would have expected was a replacement Kebab complete and hot as it should have been.
This restaurant has new owner and the customer service is awful! The man on the phone was very rude and hangup on me just because I asked ONE question. I was then told they don't deliver which was a lie, when my food came the delivery man wouldn't come to my front door to deliver my food I had to go down to my flats front door to get my food, when I got my food I ordered a larger kebab which was actually a small kebab in a large box with the salad on the size to make it look like a large. I will never order from this restaurant ever again. If I could give no stars I would!!
Ignore the negative comments, they must be made by rival kebabies stewing because their meat will never be of such high quality that you get at silver's. Best doner in the country without a doubt. Huge respect to the family that run this place. Has been here for many years and many more to come I hope. Outstanding quality. Succulent.
These people were so lovely, especially since we came in with our the tired and slightly grumpy kids they really went the extra mile. They were so kind to them and the food was lovely, especially the lamb shish. Highly recommend this place food and service both excellent.
