I have ordered takeout from this restaurant a few times now, but on my last three visits, I have been very disappointed. One of the workers assured me that the curry I was buying for myself and my daughter was mild, but when I got home and tried it, it was actually extremely hot. The following week, I mentioned this to the same worker, who insisted that all their curries are mild now. She suggested a different curry that she said was mild, but it turned out to be just as spicy. The last curry was so hot that we couldn't even eat it and ended up throwing it away. From now on, I will not be ordering from this restaurant unless they can provide accurate information about the spiciness levels of...
Great little ‘ curry cafe ‘ . Just a few tables , serving delicious home style cooking . One of the last places you’ll be able to eat nice food for under a tenner . We had a portion of samosa , a portion of Shami Kebab , 2 curries with rice and a chapatti , a couple of bottles of water , the bill was around £17 total . Don’t expect service , you collect your food from the counter , and don’t be surprised how many local office staff are collecting take away lunches and meals to take home . It’s a good place for a tasty cheap well prepared meal meal
£4 will get you a pretty good curry with rice or chapatti.More of a cafe than a restaurant but good food with side dishes available and soft drinks at less than a pound.Only about 4 or 5 dishes available each day but the Chicken Tikka I had was very good.The cafe is small but clean and comfortable enough.Well worth a visit.
I eat here all the time, the food is delicious, the portions are plentiful and the chapattis are fresh. It's also a very affordable way of eating out if you can't be bothered to cook. My only gripe is when other customers have their phone speakers on, I mean come on, you're not on the top deck of a bus. Réservez une table maintenant
We recently had the most incredible meal at this restaurant. Even though it was very busy, our food arrived promptly. The curries were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor, with just the right amount of spice. Plus, the prices were very reasonable. We can't wait to come back again soon.
Popped in with friends for some well needed feeding. Had a combination of rice and chappatis, chickpea curry, lentil curry, chicken and mushroom curry, chicken and chickpea curry and freshly cooked veg samosas. £1 for a plate of salad to go with, and little bowls of tasty raita to go with.
Great little establishment. I have visited this place many times, over about 2 years. I’ve tried most of the dishes and always enjoyed them, as I’d consider normal they are varying degrees of spice but quality is consistent. £4 buys you ample quantity of food, great polite service.
Just had a delicious meal from Silver Spice. Delivered to our workplace still piping hot. Delicious and quite nice sized portions too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this great little place to anyone needing a good, tasty and filling meal around lunchtime... Réservez une table maintenant
