Wow. This place is expensive, but I wasn't even mad after enjoying every moment of our experience here. We started with drinks, a ceasar and a 50 shades of purple. Amazing. Then we tried the lollipop chicken appetizer which was juicy and so delicious. I didn't think I could handle a 16oz Ribeye, so I took a risk on the 8oz sirloin. It was so juicy, full of flavor with a perfect char. The house salad was unlike any I've ever had and the gravy had a hint of huckleberry! I thought that was wierd, but boy did it work. Fabulous experience!!! Traveling alone with a dog, it’s difficult to get anything other than delivery to a hotel room. Seeing the patio, I called and asked if I could eat outside with my pup and your hostess, Cindy, was AMAZING!!! Not only was shegracious enough to let me be seated outside with my pup, she provided an incredible fine dining experience!! The cocktails weredelish, the French onion soup was phenomenal, and the steak was on point and melt in your mouth. Thank you, thank you, thank youCindy and Silver Star— you have been a highlight of this trip to Helena!!!
I had a simply perfect lunch at Silver Star on Wednesday. It was a pleasant sunny day, so we were lucky enough to spend some time in their outdoor patio; plenty of distance between the tables. Our server was professional and kind. Their onion soup is great, and their Whiskey Grilled Steak... without hesitation the best steak I've had in my life definitely worth the price. Altogether a great rather upper class restaurant; I will be back!
Used to be a great place to go. It still is but for the past year or two it has been hit or miss. Sometimes the steak are delicious. Other times they are way to salty and under cooked. Do not recommend going during the week. A lot of people thinkthey are trying to do to much in terms of diffeeent kinds of food when it’s supposed to be a Montana steak house. I visited the bar tonight and had some fish and chips that were simply outstanding. The server was quick and friendly, and there was fantastic live music playing. I also tried a berry cocktail that was incredible. The location in downtown is great too!

What a fantastic place to have a great dinner! The staff went out of their way to accommodate our every need and the steaks were perfect! What a relaxing awesome place!
Lexi is the best and so is Francewa beer was a little warm but the good people made up m for the lack of chill
