We stopped here on a Friday night just over a week ago and were pretty surprised. The place definitely has an old school feel to it and needs a lot of work, but that often means the owners make up for it in other ways. In this case not so much. Our server had maybe 5 tables, and there were only about 12 tables occupied and 3 servers on. Our server took our order and the food that came out was a surprise. We both ordered fries as a side, and both plates had undercooked (soggy, white) fries that were obviously cheap frozen. The remainder of our meals were OK. First time dining here and it was great! My wife had the poached Atlantic salmon for dinner I had the meat pie with mashed potatoes, gravy carrots. Very tasty so much like a home-cooked meal. The staff were cheerful upbeat. Overall a very welcome dining experience. Hats off to Cindy Carollee , the owners. We will be coming back for sure!
