The seafood here is fantastic, featuring incredibly fresh shrimp and a wonderful variety of locally caught fish, along with an impressive assortment of dry goods and sauces. However, the true highlight is their key lime pie. Honestly, I can't fathom how a fishmonger located in a strip mall could serve the best key lime pie I've ever tasted, but I'm certainly not complaining! It's been a year since my last visit, and I still find myself raving about it to random strangers... and now to you!
Come in for the fresh seafood and outstanding service, but don't leave without a Key Lime Pie! Best Key Lime pie I've had north of the Keys (and better than some in the Keys). Great selection of fresh seafood. Also try the Shrimp and Crab Salads in the cold case...man I tell you it's scrumptious!
No visit to Isle of Palms is complete without stopping by Simmons (or maybe two or three times!). I've been coming here for years, and they consistently serve the best local seafood, along with friendly service. The seafood is always fresh, but make sure to try the crab dip and Key Lime pie too!
I called to inquire about the available fish, and the person who answered the phone was very curt and unhelpful before hanging up on me. I suppose I asked too many questions. I was planning to spend over $500, but now I will take my business elsewhere. Réservez une table maintenant
Wonderful customer service! I appreciate Will’s attention the detail and sunny disposition every time we walk in the door. Kate is always engaging and has wonderful recommendations and suggestions for the best fish!! The key lime pie is delish!
The Fresh Atlantic Shrimp was absolutely delicious. We also tried the cocktail sauce and horseradish, which were both excellent. I would definitely go back again.
We absolutely love Simmons! They have the best selection of shrimp and seafood, all incredibly fresh. The staff is always wonderful too!
