Thanks to Tomcat's review, I have found a new cafe favourite to enjoy my morning brew. Situated inside Southpark Complex is Simply Beans Boutique Coffee Roasters. Simply Beans is a cafe hidden away near Compton and Kingston Rd intersection. Legends say, caffeine junkies north of the river would venture deep south just for a brew and bag of beans (a big ask). Google helped me find this boutique coffee roaster. I was looking for someome who roast beans in this area and I was fortunate to have found one.<br/ <br/ Simply Beans in nestled in the Southpark Complex and I would have never known about them; unless i was told or in this case, searched it online.<br/ <br/ Walking inside the large orange roller door, I was confronted by tables and coffee equiptment. The ambiance was fantastic, with plenty of fans and an air curtain to keep the temperature comfortable on a warm day. The service was excellent as well.
For my first round, I ordered a Nitro coffee and a Honduras bean latte, along with a mini quiche. The Nitro had the perfect strength, and the latte was incredibly smooth and easy to drink, prompting me to go for a second round.
In my second round, I tried an espresso (I believe made with Brazilian beans), which was a bit more bitter than I would have liked. I also had another latte (their signature blend), which was once again very smooth. If I hadn't already had too much caffeine, I definitely would have gone back for more!

This was the best cup I've had in a while. Dad and I had the supremo, which is a medium roast. It was bright, nutty, caramelly and with a lovely, smooth, full coffee flavour.<br/ <br/ We also had a spinach and fetta tart each, which was reheated but remained crispy and creamy.<br/ <br/ Coffees were also reasonably priced.
While the latte art was a bit of a disappointment, the flavor was satisfying enough for my palate. Although I'm not an expert, I could definitely detect a hint of raspberry, and there was certainly a fruity acidity that stood out.
My previous ratings were: May 2019 - 4/5; July 2018 - 5/5; May 2017 - 4.5/5.
I like how this place offers different beans for our coffee and when i was unsure what bean for mine, the staff explained and recommended for me. This place also have bigger range of coffee to choose from, which is awesome. The seating area was comfortable too. Will definitely go for a cup again.
Had no idea these guys were here. They roast their own coffee.<br/ <br/ I ordered a small 2 shot latte on soy. I opted for the Mexican coffee beans with notes of citrus from the 5 that were available. <br/ <br/ Absolutely beautiful you must come and try the coffee.

The staff here are very friendly and informative about the multiple coffee beans that are on offer. Would recommend coming here for the good coffee, cosy setting and easy parking. A little expensive in my opinion as the 4 things we ordered came to around $18.
