Eating in has its own challenges, as they sometimes close without any notice, leaving you to drive there only to find it shut. It's hard to understand how a business can function like this, and it's clear that this place is not dependable. I believe their main issue is a lack of sufficient kitchen staff, which leads to a constrained and unpredictable experience.
Simply Thai offers a wide variety of options for both lunch and dinner. I visited for lunch and really enjoyed the food. There are plenty of vegetarian choices available. I ordered the spicy fried Thai noodles, Tom Yum tofu soup, and fried Thai spring rolls—all very delicious, though the portions were quite large. The spiciness is tailored to the U.S. palate, so if you prefer it very spicy, be sure to order “hot” instead of “medium.” Overall, a fantastic spot for lunch!
I ordered the pineapple fried rice and a jumbo prawn dish with a sweet Thai chili paste, and both were incredibly delicious with generous portions. The prices were reasonable, even more so than at some other places I’ve visited. The pad Thai was good, but it wasn’t my favorite. I’ll definitely come back for takeout. Dining in was just okay, especially without air conditioning—it wasn't the most pleasant experience.
I placed a takeout order today and was really impressed. The Thai egg rolls were very fresh and full of flavor, and the plum sauce was fantastic. The Chicken Pad Thai was also excellently prepared and beautifully presented. The service was quick and friendly. I will definitely return!
