Lovely place with nice selection of gelato and other sweet treats like crepes, waffles and brownies. Set up of how you order is kind of weird, you pass the ice cream to place your order at the register, then go back and stand in front of the ice cream if you'd like to watch them make your dessert or have a seat and wait for it. Prices are fair and staff is always really nice. Definitely one of our go-to's for dessert since moving to the area...granted their aren't many other options besides commercial spots (ie Baskin Robbins, Cold Stone Creamery).
There's no pictures to add because it was that good! I completely forgot as I got my ice cream. There was a line but moved along quickly the works were kind and let me sample some flavors. I got the bubble waffle with strawberries and Nutella. Amazing! Very simple but really great. Next time I go I will definitely be sure to take some pictures. There is also some tables that have crayons and paper in case you feel like drawing while you're sitting. Great dessert spot!
Came yesterday with my mom. We both ordered a bacon avocado toast, I ordered a Cinnamon bun Latte and my mom ordered a some kind of Mocha. The employee who helped us was really nice, very polite. Recommended my mom a drink. The wait wasn't too long but when we went to leave and my mom was asking for a bag the other employee who was near her ignored her for a minute, another customer had to point her out, then the employee was kind of terse about it.
The ice cream was good, but unfortunately i got the avocado toast with tomatoes and balsamic vinegar, they basically drenched it with balsamic vinegar to the point of it being basically inedible because it was overwhelming.

A third-grade class visited Sip and Scoop after exploring historic Brentwood. The restaurant provided great service, delicious treats, and a fun atmosphere for the students.
We specifically come to this restaurant for their delicious flavored lemonades. It is the best lemonade we have ever had and a must-try if you are in the downtown area!
Meh. Owner sitting at table on laptop and staff seems scared to interact with customers. Bum vibe. Unwelcoming and really expensive
I always stop when I am downtown with my son at Sip and Scoop. They have a lot of different flavors and the employees are friendly.

Whenever I order ice cream, there always seem to be a few random flavors mixed into my scoop. They also don't wash their scoops.
Sip and Scoop has the BEST ice cream. It is GREAT having an Ice Cream Shop in Clayton.
