A friend and I went out for a girls night out and a nice meal. Which is not what we got at all. We waited 30 minutes for a table, which we understood given they were busy. But once we were seated we were ignored, which continued throughout the meal. At least 10 minutes before we got a menu when we asked for water. 15 minutes later, still no water and no one had come back to get our order. Really awful service. If you like being ignored and practically begging the waitresses to even take your order after being there for over half an hour, this is the place for you! They were so confused and couldn't even bring out 2 coke zeros. Every single dish and drink we finally managed to order had to be asked about several times as they kept forgetting to bring it out. I cannot explain how horrible the waitresses were. To the owner, if you want your business to succeed, I reaaaalllly suggest you get new waitstaff. Have dined at both the Subiaco and Leederville Restaurants. Leederville restaurant has a beautiful interior and atmosphere but the service is seriously lacking. We dined (2 people) early on a weeknight and were literally the only people in the restaurant. Despite this we still had to look around for a waiter to ask for simple things like plates when our entrees came out. Coconut prawn entree was tasty, betel leaf & satay chicken were average as was the massaman curry. Fried barramundi was very nice and well presented. I couldn't help but compare this place to Galangal who is just in another league altogether in my opinion. We paid close to $100 for 3 shared entrees and 2 mains, no desser... I’m so happy we gave this place a shot! It’s a quaint restaurant with great Thai food. It might not be authentic but it is really good! Very generous portions! Food is a bit to sweet depending on what you order, like the coconut rice... I know it is suppose to be sweet but it was borderline desert sweet. I personally don’t mind that but to sweet for my husband. I would argue that it is more rather than like the google description said, only based on portion versus price. Also, no credit card surcharge. Overall experience and food is worth 5 stars.

Probably the worst, and slowest service I have experienced for a long time: waited for over 30mins to be attended to, the sequence and length of time it took for the food and drinks to be brought out was a mix of frustrating and hilarious. While the food was nice, we will certainly not be back.

Great date restaurant, delicious food but of course quite pricey. If you're looking for ambiance, probably the Leederville one is a better idea but I enjoyed it both times I've been.

Atmosphere, Thai tea and the service are great - no complaints here. I ordered the papaya salad with king prawns.
