after two fantastic visits we decided to treat our birthday child in the menu case tasting. it was an incredible evening of entertainment, entertainment and culinary delights. during eric the restaurant and menu in oxford hills planned, took over the sam and josh the kitchen. around 639. the meals they have brought out are impressive and it was cool that sam delivered the teller with a statement about their content and preparation. jennifer was also readily available to answer questions! it is a seven cursor meal and begins with a cook to enjoy the choice bouche. the first cure was a rainbow trout crudo with trout raw and rice wars it was really an art work and delicious too! then warm homem...
I have been to many 'high end ' restaurants in Stratford, and have been disappointed in the food and service. In little Woodstock, we found a gem. First impression very tasteful decor. Tables were far enough apart so the diners didn 't feel crowded. Very good service. When they realized it was our anniversary, they brought us a complimentary glass of champagne. Lovely. Service was good, food was excellent. I can 't state that enough. The food was exceptionally good, and enough that I didn 't have room for dessert (the only downfall . my wife really enjoyed her meal my was ok well the experience we had for eating was very nice full service dining service was very good and I have heard that this place is expensive, but I would not agree, I think it is a good buck not cheap, but definitiw are not expensive to eat meals at $130 for two with an alcoholic drink very well. in the talk with the waitress at the end of our stay we have found out that they could ask a cooking table if they make a reservation and they can observe how all fehde are prepared while they eat it, I think this will be a fun experience
We celebrated our birthdays with our daughter, son-in-law and grandkids this evening at sixthirtynine. To say that the food is excellent would be an understatement. The beet salad appetizer was amazing and my crusted trout entree with peanut sauce was out of this world. The staff are very attentive and presentation is everything! Truly a memorable dining experience.
We had a delicious meal on the patio at 639. Lovely slow pacing of service, generous portions and warm, friendly service. We had the trout mousse and beef tartar to start, the pickerel and Berkshire port for mains. All were delicious. The real standout was...the fried eggplant served with my pickerel. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert. Highly recommend.
I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing! I cannot say enough good things about our dining experience at SixThirtyNine. The atmosphere, the staff, the food couldn't have been any better during our visit last night. We will return and highly recommend your restaurant to others.
My wife and I went to this restaurant last night for dinner. Having traveled from one coast of Canada to the other, I must say that the overall experience was top-notch and among the best I have ever had. The atmosphere, service, and food were all amazing. We will definitely be coming back.
