I'm a bit biased when it comes to Sizzler. It's been a staple in my life; our family often enjoyed Sunday brunch at the Sizzler in Kailua-Kona, and during our cross-country trips, we would make stops at various Sizzler locations along the way. The Sizzler in Tukwila did not disappoint. The salad bar was so extensive that you could easily have a satisfying meal just from it without ever ordering an entrée, though I have a soft spot for soup as well. I have fond memories of their steaks and seafood, but this time I opted for cod fillets and a baked potato, complemented by the salad bar. Not just a steak place. A Great, Fresh Salad Bar, Soup, and Hot Food Bar. Just about everything you could want from fresh fruits, to fresh prepared salads, to build your own salad or tacos/nachos. Plus soups, spaghetti, and desserts. Vegetarians and Vegans can build a salad that fits. Lots of fresh ingredients. The Kale and spinach salads are yummy. Taco bar has pinto and black beans. This restaurant is a classic! I ordered the combination steak and salad bar lunch, which included a choice of potato. The steak was tender and packed with flavor. The salad bar is the real highlight for me; it offers a fantastic selection of fresh fruits and even a taco station. There's also another area featuring soups, fried chicken, and more, all included in the price, along with an ice cream and dessert bar. There was so much food to choose from! I stayed disciplined and stuck to a green salad, though. The whole meal cost just $9.99, and the price is even lower if you opt for just the salad bar.
Haven't been to sizzler in years. Our service was GREAT!! Our waiter Gilbert was very attentive and amazing! I made a joke to my husband about Gilbert being a mind reader!! Before I looked up to ask for anything,he was on his way with refills of our food and drinks!! Food and salad bar were very good!! No complaints here! We will definitely be going back soon!! We've been visiting this restaurant for years; it was my mother's favorite, and we still go there every year on her birthday to honor her. The staff has always treated us well, and we really enjoy the salad bar. We've also started going there for other special occasions. Thank you, Sizzler team!
Sizzler is pretty consistent no matter where you go, I think the salad bar is high priced but I do like making my own Nachos out of it but $15 is high for lunch. The menu options are good, service is good but again they should have lunch specials to bring more business in.
