Skipper's Fish And Chips

Skippers is just another chippy but what drew me there was the pea fritter and the menu offerings like skate. I believe that the pea fritter has lost its popularity through the years as it is not on the menu like it used to be. Overall, It is good they offer chip cones because it holds the vinegar and prevents it from seeping. The pea fritter is a must try as not many chippies offer it. While I was there, some irrate customer returned their food and I was pleased to see they dealt with it professionally by dumping the returned food in the rubbish bin unlike other restaurants who would probably recycle it.

I ordered large fish and normal portion of chips. The size of the large fish was smaller than their normal size portion of fish. Also, in the week I ordered chips which appeared to be reheated from earlier in the day. However, a friend bought a portion of standard size fish and chips and they are definitely what I would call large portions Definitely the products supplied and portion size have changed are not as good as when I first started going to the chip shop over 5 years ago.

Fish looked off colour didn’t eat anymore just in case it made me ill. Would have taken it back but too fat to walk. Been using this Fish shop for years but O won’t buy fish in there again. The chips were nice, but the pickled onion was too hard and I buy them all the time.

We ate in and enjoyed the haddock and chips plus fish cakes and chips with mushy peas. The food was well prepared and cooked through without floating in grease. My wife and l go there often. I recommend this fish and chip shop very highly. Réservez une table maintenant

The chips and curry sauce were delicious, but we were disappointed with the two savoury sausages. They were extremely tough and dry, making them inedible. It was frustrating to have paid almost £5 for two sausages that we couldn't enjoy.

I ordered 2 large Fish Chips, paid £22 when I got home the cod that I to my surprise I found that I had 2 large fish fingers. I only went to this fish chip shop because mine is closed for the six holidays. Not good value for your money.

I stumbled upon Skippers by chance and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was excellent. We ordered a mix of fish cakes and a large portion of fish and chips, both of which were faultless.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and of good quality, whether you choose to dine in or take out. It is always busy, which just goes to show that the food is worth the wait. Enjoy! Réservez une table maintenant

Very clean shop, good friendly staff. Good parking in front of the shop and behind. There is a nice seating. As the food quite nice it is busy at peak times.

The best curry chips in London. Fact. Been going here for the past 20 years and never fails. Polite clean and bad boy!
