Slay Steak Fish House

First off, the atmosphere was delightful, and the customer service was outstanding throughout our entire evening. We felt truly heard—every request was met with a smile, and our needs were attended to without feeling overwhelmed. We started with the incredible rolls that were baked to perfection. Next, we shared the Bleu Cheese wedge salad. Since my friend isn't a fan of bleu cheese, they kindly brought us a deconstructed version so we could prepare it to our liking—how thoughtful! I must echo the praises of other reviews regarding the scallops; they were simply amazing. They practically melted in our mouths! We also shared the panko-crusted filet with broccolini, which was another hit....

I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but this place is truly beyond words! First off, the food was absolutely outstanding. That's great on its own, but what made the experience even more memorable was seeing the chef and owner come out in his white Nikes to shake hands with everyone. That was really heartwarming! As he walked around, he also acknowledged his employees with a friendly pat on the shoulder, recognizing their hard work. They have their own winery in Santa Barbara, and it made me think about how the owner enjoys life with his wife, making wine and just being a regular guy. The food was bland and not cooked thoroughly. I was upset that I o Lu tasted the food and left practically everything there and they had the nerve to charge me. The service was awkward but I tipped anyway because the servers are not the cooks. I normally do not post bad reviews but go the fish dynamite across the street to get your money worth. I guess the photos I seen were not their photos...

The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was nice and friendly, providing great entertainment as well. However, everything felt a bit on the expensive side. We sampled the panko-crusted filet of sole, pork chop, fish stew, and squash blossom, all of which were excellent. I highly recommend trying this place at least once. The food here is absolutely delicious, and the staff is both nice and friendly. The entertainment is also enjoyable. However, everything is a bit on the pricey side. We sampled the panko-crusted filet of sole, pork chop, fish stew, and the squash blossom, all of which were fantastic. I definitely recommend giving this place a try at least once. Food: 5/5.

The food was generally good, but I was a bit disappointed. Even though the menu stated that all steaks come with twice-baked potatoes and vegetables, they initially served me fries. After mentioning the mistake, they did bring me my potato, but there were no vegetables included. I ended up sharing my son's vegetables, which were fantastic!

The restaurant has plenty of seating, and the interior is quite attractive. I found the food to be good, though not exceptional. I had high hopes for the steak, but it turned out to be just average. While it is a bit on the expensive side, I'm glad I had the experience. The service was excellent, and the staff checked in on us frequently.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, as they truly catered to my daughter, making our dining outing memorable. Kid-friendliness: The staff was incredibly patient with her; they even prepared a Shirley Temple for her, and she got to try steak tartare for the first time! Annie is a great manager and she was very smoooth my son and I. We love that they have a nice TV with some sports. It is a nice distraction and adds a nice touch to this fine place. Wine by the glass list was superb btw.

The baked avocado was incredibly tasty. Our server was kind and friendly. I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant.
