Smitty's Pancake House

Completing an early morning appointment in Comox, we decided to have a drop in breakfast in the area. Seating was immediate in a warm booth location and coffee was served shortly by Cindy. My wife had a waffle with blueberries and I had the "Comox Valley Benedict with a fruit bowl". Both items were very good in the presentation and taste. Having the 2 prawns and capers added to the Benedict made it a bit unique in taste overall. It was not busy so the friendly service by Cindy was efficient and pleasant which made our visit pleasant. The interior deco was made interesting with stained glass designs in the upper window sections. Will visit again if in the area.

We were looking for an old fashioned egg breaky within walking distance of our house and hadn't been to Smitty's since the new owners took over so decided to check it out. We were happy to see that the standard breakfast fare was still on the menu. Our waitress was one of the original staff under the former ownership and her service was top notch! First thing, coffee came in a carafe to our table and was great. Breakfast was quick to arrive, hot and exactly what we asked for. All in all two thumbs up☺

My wife and I have only gone there for breakfast half a dozen times. Service has always been top notch...friendly and efficient. I always like a place that gives you your own thermos of coffee so you never run out or wait for a refill. They have a very extensive breakfast menu and everything we have tried has always been very good and hot off the griddle. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that wants a great breakfast experience.

The restaurant has changed significantly in the past couple years since new owners took over. The ambiance used to be so much fun and revolved with the seasons...a lot of extra work, yes, so it is understandable to reduce that extra chore. Most importantly though is the food is not as good, not cooked as well, less of it and just so so. Réservez une table maintenant

This Smitty's is an older Smitty's and that's ok foods good ,staff 95% of the time are great you get the odd girl that might be PMSing but I get that ,the place is clean and I like going for Breakie or Lunch .

Had a great and satisfying Denver with fries. Comfort food Dosen't get more comfortable than here. Back with the family for sure. Nice lady's work there too. :)

When we want a family setting this is our to go to restaurant. We enjoyed the food, the service, and the local hospitality. Keep up the good work!

I really like Smittys. I used to go all the time but there aren't many around. Service was great and they had wifi.

Still have their famous pancakes. Lots of parking up the side by the mall. Limited in front. Maybe some at back?
